Kev’s interview in Yep on Tuesday made interesting reading. Unsure how to take it but they are most certainly getting their skates on in the transfer market for a stand off, but it sort of reads like they’re not ruling out bringing in someone this year..

Can only assume we'll be making him an offer.

Would he enjoy playing HB? I know he wanted to move from centre a year or too back. Was his preferred position full back or in the halves?

Think he has preferres the 6 shirt, but club see him as Fullback. If Connor has not resigned for Hull by now/or very soon, I asume he is moving on. Dies Radfird taje him ti Cas uf Trunan us miving on, does Trueman end up at Warrington or Leeds, does George Williams end up at Warrington? Connor could end up Staying at Hull, Cas or Leeds. Expect a merry go round over the next few months of who ends uo where.

Yep good point.

Some key players' futures to be decided;

Sam Tomkins - off contract at the end of the year I believe
George Williams - wants to return to super league, latest rumour was Warrington were offering him the most money
Jake Trueman - deal ends in 2022, Cas can either get a fee for him this year or lose him for nothing. Warrington had a bid for him turned down
Jake Connor - apparently offered a new deal at Hull, but nothing confirmed yet!

I put earlier if we dont offer Hurrell a new deal we could afford both Connor and Trueman.

Have to say both Connor and Trueman in the same side would be interesting. I am sure we will be enquiring about both players as part of our digging... let's keep fingers crossed they come up with the right signings for next year when the dust settles.

Connor would be ideal covers Full back centre and stand off. Trueman would solve our 6 problem. For me if you could get both and lose Hurrell I think that's a no brainer.
