Pretty certain he does count on the quota. Think Lui would need to go for it to happen. Will be interesting to see what it is said about him at the next injury update. Will be very interested to hear from anyone at the club full stops. These rumours require a response.

Id take Austin for the rest of the season if Lui is struggling to get back to full fitness

Yeh, this smacks of Lui being finished.
Austin would make a lot of sense if short term for this season.

Logically though, I would have thought Widdop is more likely to depart. He wants to be back in the Oz, and there are a couple of teams who are interested.

Funny you should say that, just after he arrived, i had a word with someone at the club, and suggested (cos we love a bit of copyright infringement) they should do a mock up of the stone cold steve austin skull t shirt that said

Austin 6:13 (6 cos he's a stand off and 13... i dont need to explain that)

as a play on the austin 3:16, it never happened though, i'd have bought one.

Austin would be an improvement on Liam sutcliffe I agree, wasn’t we interested in him before he moved to wire? Who do we look at longer term if it’s just until the end of the season?
