TBH who would blame Agar for going back to Aus, the guy seems to get nothing but stick from all fans, despite being well respected by those within the game that have worked with him.

Im sure it won’t to be fair.

I feel a bit sorry for him though, took over did a great job in steadying the ship and had nothing but hurdles since the start of the 2020 season when they are supposed to be rebuilding

I dont necessarily feel sorry for him as i think he was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time when our head coaching position became open. I was massively against giving him the position on a permanent basis but dont mind holding my hands up and saying he's done a pretty good job.

Do i think theres better coaches than Agar...Yes

But i also think theres plenty of worse ones aswel. Ultimately i just hope whatever happens works out being for the best for the club, and if he does go i hope he does well and enjoys it, because he seems to be a really good bloke.

Maybe feel sorry isn’t the correct term but I think because of circumstances obviously out of his control I don’t think we’ve seen a true reflection of what he could have achieved after steadying the ship if that makes more sense?

Bar the Hull game we looked really strong in 2020 and then covid happened snd I don’t think weve ever got back in the swing of things, until probably the cas hame and then ironically covid stuffed us again!

What is with people, full of negativity!
Agar has done a decent job won a CC and judging by how well we were playing before the Covid interruption last year we might have been much better placed for the play offs but it’s never good enough.
If he goes to the NRL and it’s only a rumour that I have seen on this site.Then obviously they like most people in the game see how good he is, maybe not the best but good, he will be a big loss and to the doubters I say be careful what you wish for.

May not be true, just what I’ve been told that’s all. Wasn’t Agar at Hull with Fitzgibbon?

We've heard them, and were interested before he signed for Warrington, but I highly doubt we'll sign him.

I mean for us, Austin may not be the most 'glamorous' of signings with people baying for Trueman/Johnson - but i'd have Austin over WIlliams as i don't rate Williams.

Leeds aren't going to get Jake Trueman or Shaun Johnson for like next week and Austin could have a bit of a spark and turn in form at a new club where he's playing for a longer deal.

Makes sense for all parties and we can release Lui early.
