Fages was offered a contract from Saints, Hudds offered *a lot* more. Am told it’s a done deal, and Saints will hand the 7 shirt to Dodd next year, which is a bold risk, and will either be brilliant or blow up in our faces (see the lomaskell era for more information). Especially with us also gambling with Coote (reportedly homesick due to COVID, he wants to stay his wife wants to go) and if he doesn’t stay, we will see Welsby at fullback as well.

Think you'll be alright. Two belting young players with Welsby in particular looking the best youngster in the League. If you do choose to go with Dodd you might lose something in the short term, but medium to long term it will pay off.

Cas have turned down £150 000 offer for Truman believed to be from Warrington. At least one other SL club is interested hopefully that's us.

We are losing Lui and Unless there is a massive improvement from Eastmond then 6 is our weakest position.

I'd be very surprised if Eastmond was any where near the top of our wage structure. He was without a club in either code, and a year out of the game. I suspect the club held the cards in negotiations and the 2nd year may have been Eastmond's only significant take away from negotiations.

I can honestly believe that Jake Trueman could be in a Leeds shirt in 2022. My reasons for this are really...

He’s 22 years old, lives at home with his parents in Bradford. Does he really want to commit to the other side of the pennies, either commuting daily, or moving sticks and paying more out by getting your own home and having none of the usual friends and family around you? Or do you go to a club like Leeds, where you can commute 20 minutes down the road and still have all that around you, without leaving your family and friends.

The other reasons are, Rob Lui is leaving, Callum Mclelland is still young and OOC 2021, Eastmond experiment isn’t working (and even with that, Eastmonds salary on second year will be on the cap at 75% and is OOC 2022), Luke Gale isn’t getting any younger and is OOC 2022. Leeds could easily afford his salary and a possible transfer fee.

Massive club with constant trophy winning mentality. Huge fan base. Amazing facilities.

Need you to be doing the negotiations, Frosties. You've just convinced me. Don't forget to mention that he's probably mates with Gale.

I hope you are right. For mine it's a no brainer Trueman should be our number one target.
