Absolutely, they had one of the best starting line ups in that league when everyone is available

Another good win for the young lads today.
Joseph hatrick and Perkins netting one.
Drameh had a good game by all accounts too.
Thoughts for Sunday, I`m going 2-1 Leeds and my team would be.
Messlier
Ayling, Koch, Cooper, Struijk but think Harpo will get the nod.
Sinestera, Adams, Aaaronsen, Roca, Harrison although I prefer Gnonto
Biscuit bones

Greenwood and Klickety to cover midfield.
Rodrigo and Joffy to cover upfront.

I'd expect Kristensen and Firpo to be the full backs

I’m not sure Firpo will start, he’s barely kicked a ball in anger since end of last season.. and Struijk done quite well so far.

Didn't Firpo play for the 23's recently? I might be mistaken
Re: The ONLY LUFC Football Thread : Sat Oct 01, 2022 6:26 pm
he did yes

Well a point is better than none.
Gritty defensive performance against a toothless Villa.
I know I`m no fan of Harrison or Firpo so can someone tell me I`m biased?
Firpo`s defence is shocking and Harrison having watched him closely just doesn`t seem to know what is going on around him.
Even though Cooper made a couple of mistakes he does seem to martial the backline better.
Messlier again rocks and diamonds.

thought firpo went ok.
Harrison was dreadful. having a month without a game didnt help. thought Adam's was supurb. again

We definitely looked rusty, Aaronson and Harrison were poor, especially. If fit, Bamford has to play every possible minute we can get out of him, because even with 10 men we looked much better in the final third with him on.

Agree. The break came at the wrong time for Harrison, was in good form. Bamford looked really good didn't he, needs to start, understand why they are treading carefully though. Surprised no Geldhart on the bench.. We have to get much better at dealing with teams who come to time waste, need to stop getting so frustrated and stay calm, manager needs to get that drilled into the team.

Losing Sinesterra is a big loss, comes up with a goal from nowhere, silly second yellow. 2 tough games to come, Palace away, Arsenal at home. Could do well to get a point from those.
