Yes it`s a bit worrying that our hopes were raised when we were looking at spending 40 million. Only to now find out we needed to offload someone before bringing in another. I can only see us scrapping it out at the bottom come April unless we bring in 2 or 3 more players of quality. Sounds a lot like last year!
more alarming was marsch saying he didnt want james to go but to sign one another had to go. the net spend has been peanuts. are we so hard up? I like this board, they've taken us a long way but it might be the time for the 49ers to step in
I said exactly the same tonight Tad. Time for Radrizanni to sell imo. He’s taken us as far as he can. Llorente would be dropped before now had we brought in a left back. Clearly we didn’t have the money to do so..
not really. we look far better organised. we look well coached. we look miles better than last year. really need to beat forest next though
Sorry Tad I meant as far as recruiting players. We are still looking for an experienced forward and a left back same as last year. Coaching is like you say much better and we are more organised.
So no game until 2nd October now… villa at home. interesting to see how this works out. Monday would have been a great time to play Forrest they got booed off and looked a bit of a mess v Bournemouth but hey ho. There’ll be some serious fixture congestion in Jan. Suppose it gives Bamford plenty of time to continue to get fit but he won’t be getting important match fitness..
I see Maupay and Tarkovwski both had terrific games for Everton yesterday. Both would have been good additions at little cost for Leeds. Would have given us depth up front and at the back. Both perform well in premier league
