Rumour is Liverpool are going to bid around £32m. I doubt the club will entertain any other less than £50m

They’d need to double that. Even then I don’t think we’d sell. Need to build not sell.

I don`t think for one minute the club will sell and certainly not at 32 mil.
If Liverpool are offering 32 as an opening bid they know he`s worth over 40 at least.
Money talks but Leeds would be foolish to accept anything less than 60 mil and even then it`s a no chance imo.

The price is ridiculously low, so it's just testing the water. Leeds have a genuine star in Rafina, so really shouldn't be looking to sell him. I would hope our high finish has put a bit more cash in the coffers and that we can reinvest.

From Rafinas point of view I guess it's a case of does he want to be a big fish in a small pond, or a cog in a machine at Liverpool.

He’s publicly said he’s staying. Won’t be going anywhere.

The trouble with these players who have a decent season and get to sign for the top four teams is that they become squad players who might be sat warming the bench for the majority of the season.
He himself needs to stay at least another year at Leeds and if they get into Europe he might stay longer.
Too soon for him to move on imo.
Look at Daniel James.
He`s well out of his depth at MU.

James is off to Leicester apparently.

But Raphinha' creative numbers put him in the very top bracket of creative players in the league, and Liverpool tend to focus their recruitment on signing the best players from the mid table of the PL (Mane, VVD, Wjinaldun, Robertson, Henderson etc) as they can't compete with likes of Man city, MU, and Chelsea for the big transfers, so Raphinha is probably right up their alley. We hold all the cards though, so I think he'll stay at least one more season.

I’d have James at Leeds. Can play either side. We’re a touch short on depth for the left if Harrison gets injured. He’s also unlikely to keep his form going over another full season.

I do think we'll sign a left winger, but I highly doubt it will be a left footed one. We need a right footed wide player, as we don't currently have any

Yeah we seem to be constantly linked to wingers. Apparently we’re close to making our first signing. I’d hope we get the business done early as they’ll need a long time to get Bielsa fit (unless they’re another Raphinha).
