Agree Tad. I had a gut feeling we would struggle a bit more this year and so far it's true and i definitely think we'll be 12th to 15th come season end. But, lets judge after the next run of fixtures.. we've had a bloody tough start fixture wise, there's no doubt about it.

Comes back to what we were saying a couple of weeks back. It's becoming apparent we can't go man to man vs the best teams this season, they've sussed us out and also the likes of Ayling and Cooper as Tad is saying quite rightly, were over achieving last year. We need to evolve to try and pick up draws against them, I thought we'd cracked that end of last year but we appear not to have.

Llorente looks to have pulled his hamstring which is bad news, he's our best defender. Hope he's not out long.

Llorente saying his injury is not that serious but that could still mean he misses 2 or 3 games.
Surely we will appeal the sending off?

Hearing that club are appealing Struijk sending off and have also included a written message from Harvey Elliott in their appeal.

saw it. but what players and officials think is often miles apart. and I played semi pro and reffed semi pro/pro.
you dont realise till you start reffing that you really dont know much about the laws, and its harder nowadays with constant changes, some of which are designed to stop serious injury to be fair

Think he cost less than £2mil mate and Edouard has scored 2 in 1 game.
Both players plus the lad from Celtic cost nearly 10 m less than James.
