Not bad that`s what 15 million over 2 years plus you get that back easily if you sell him.
Good bit of business.
Downside is it could pish the rest of the players off.
I also think he`s better than Maguire and should be in the England team ahead of him.

Maguire has been one of the best defenders in the last 2 major international tournaments. He's levels above Tarkowski and Coady, he's a great player at the wrong club.

I'm not sure you get £15m for JT by the time he's 32 either.

macguire is ok in a back 3 with decent players to make him look good

Don`t agree with your assessment of Maguire as I think he`s overrated and prone to making mistakes.
Even Ronaldo agrees with me
Even if you get 5million for Tarkowski it`s not a bad return.

Yep, and in a team who sits back and counter attacks. He lacks pace to play in a team who press high up the pitch and dominates possession, teams countering that get in behind him too easily. Now i;m not saying he's a bad defender, he's definitely not but he needs to be in right system, he's been good for England and is good on the ball, but Southgate system suits him with it's defensive nature.

On another note i see little Willy called up for Italy again for the upcoming games.. looks a good spot by Orta, went well for U21's other night.
