I am sure they would have prefered the recent game to have been the final...but lets wait and see if they even reach the final shall we

WCC. Pretty OK actually. Manly were spectacularly good that day but we still gave them a game. 2nd best club in the world? I can handle that.

As we didn't finish 2nd in the CC (if only) then my feelings are hardly comparable but I was crushed.

Now, the real thing. Finish 2nd to the Super League Champions. You'll have to ask a Saints fan for that one. If that happens to us in October remind me and I'll let you know. Until then I have enough to worry about without pondering how I will feel if something that may happen happens in 6 months time. Like, how long do I have to wait before the young wench ion the office brings me my next cup o' T.

Manly having played four lost four since then and Leeds being beaten by the same side British rival twice also would suggest a resounding 'not bloody likely.'

Wigan in 2007 was the 5th round, after beating Workington in the 4th.
