Getting up the increasingly irrational Brian Noble's nose is another plus point.

Paul "the Brain" Cullen did a tremendous and very subtle hatchet job on Noble last night. Wigan tired the same tactics as Hudds, but were just rubbish at it. Very excellent.

You're too kind, I was expecting the concession re the ground though.

Furthermore there's nothing new about the wrestle, holding a player upright, then putting him to ground and leaning on causing a nine second delay to reset. Ellery Hanley for one made a career out of it.

Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

One concession a week is my usual limit but I am in a good mood so go on then. Its' nearer to home for me and I like it. I hated it until 1999 (in particular in 1996 and 1997) but its' been a nice venue since then.

Interesting that you should bring Tupou up. Here's an overseas threequarter from the NRL that a Sl club signed up during the season with free cap space.

Kind of what you're advocating we should do.

Oh yes, the Bulls experience with the now sacked Tupou is a great example for you to bring up in support of your proposition.
I hope Leeds follow the same path. really, I do.

I remember telling Bullseye on here that McNamara was way too young and inexperienced for the Bulls and that Toupou was no replacement for Vainikolo.

He didn't agree with me back then using Matty Elliot as an example. :(

I could see where he was coming from but still you can't always be right.

I didn't need to bring up Toupou when Leeds already had their very own Toopi experience.

On the other hand Lauitiiti hasn't worked out too bad and elsewhere Dobson steered Catalans around quite nicely in Jones' injury absence and 100% saved Wigan and the RFL from fudging on their imminent relegation from SL.
