Personally the Quality doesn’t bother me as much as long as its see able. It’s Youtube I’m using it for - not a documentary on ITV. I’ll see what happens tomorrow with curry’s then if I don’t get anything that can connect to Youtube then Firewall it is!

OK Damo now im confused. You want to connect to youtube with it ? Its not that simple. The firewire card goes inside yer pc. The cable connects yer camcorder to the pc. The software or windows movie maker or nero show time if you have it lets you capture what youve recorded on to your hard drive and manipulate it with titles and transitions and such. Then you encode it to whatever format you like (vob, mp4, wmv etc etc) then you upload it to youtube
