Would not touch either with a barge pole, one is a known troublemaker, not got the right stuff to play for a club like us, the other is just plain carp and we have better players already.

The biggest problem we have at the moment is we cannot contain other teams coming out of there half, we either piggy back them with penalties or they are making 70-80 meters in a set of six.
this may change when we have all our front row options available, but my concern is we struggle with all our ageing forwards on the field or in the 17 all at once, i simply don't see how we can continue with Ferres, JJb Ablet, Delaney. all in the squad at the same time. We desperately need some young dynamics in the back row and should only have 2 of the above in the match day team at once.

we've beaten Saints and lost on conversions to Cas with Ablett, Delaney and JJB all starting and just kids on the bench. We lost by 1 point to a strong Wigan team.
we've had no props for most of the year, and now our second row/older forwards look knackered because theyve been forced to make up for the front row slack
im not worrying about it tbh, once we get our props back our second rows can go back to being spelled and it should freshen it up
plus cam smith seems to have come on leaps and bounds this year

its a far point but arguably the 3 one point losses should have been wins, and maybe flogging the old guys is what cost us. Having singo out there really helps as he is still young and developing all the time into one of the best props in the league, if he is not already. i honestly think Fesses is a waste of space and has been a poor signing, would prefer to give smith and or Walters and extended run. i and others have been critical of Smith but he is starting to look the business at last. walters maybe not a great player but offers more than Ferres at moment, hopefully Ferres has something to proof and can start making up for it rest of this season.

the close losses could and should have been wins, youre right, but considering the players we've had missing i think thats a great effort.
i thought Ferres was our best forward against Huddersfield tbh, and feel its too early in his return from injury to judge what he adds right now.
we have given Smith, Oledzki and Walters extended runs over the last month or two, and im sure it'll be beneficial in the long term.
going on from the end of the season i wouldnt be against bringing in a young second row though as i dont feel Delaney has much to offer now and JJB will probably be leaving.
i wouldnt be against Greenwood or say Whitley from Widnes coming in (just seen he's signed a new contract two days ago so unlikely  ).

Olbison has really impressed me whenever i've seen him. He can do better than Widnes anyway.

Hastings would be a good signing until the end of the season.
Don't think even he could cause that much trouble in a limited amount of time and would give us that extra creative edge Moon does not have.
Thankfully Westerman has signed for Hull.

Just read elsewhere Cas are after Moon and Cuthbertson not sure about signing new deal although he is 33. A few off contract this season , looks like the Sleeve will be busy

Just shows you how hard it is for teams like Leeds to compete with the likes of these well off clubs like Castleford.
They will be running the RL before too long
Could we swap Moon for McShane please?

No, but we will swap Moon for Greg Eden in a bid for revenge after the Hardaker affair.

Rumour is Lilley is being shipped around super league and championship clubs for a permanent move and that Moon will be leaving at the end of the season to go home, irrespective of an NRL offer.
