I have rated Thompson for quite a few years now and I always knew he was NRL bound eventually if he wished to go over there
Thompson is an dynamic prop who makes good meters before and after collision, He also runs great lines,especially in the oppositions 20 and can get over the try line too
With the current interchange rules he's certainly a player that clubs need as he can also do long minutes

Saints have had the best 2 props for a few years now in SL and both Thompson and Walmsley could easily make it in the NRL.
Ryan Sutton has performed well over there this season and he's well below Thompson's standard

My only concern regarding Thompson is that he has joined a poor side in the Bulldogs as they are bloody crap at present.

But overall I think that he will be a success in the NRL and good luck to him for going over there

But imo Thompson is a bit ahead of Graham when he was 25, Graham was still at Saints and didn't move to the NRL til he was 27 Thompson could become one of worlds best forwards over there as his feet for a prop forward are class and he's also very quick over a short distance, if he was going to a club who are in a better position and struggling like the Bulldogs I think we would see him reach his full potential quite early in his NRL career but he might struggle or look like he's struggling in NRL to start with as Bulldogs get battered pretty much every week and have been for past 2 or 3 seasons, I think we should at least give Thompson a chance in NRL before righting him off as not good enough if he becomes even better whilst playing over there it only benefits England's national side.

Totally agree with this sentiment. I'm not a huge fan of Thompson but give the guy a bit of a chance. He is a decent prop and the NRL will quickly find out whether he has what it takes to step up to the next level. Love or hate the NRL it's flipping hard on the forwards.

Have you been watching the NRL ? Williams has started like a house on fire. Also Hodgson is class. If he can perform well in NRL he’s not out of his depth for England/GB
