Anticipation good, speed good, finishing poor.

Another miss to add to the dropped ball on the Celtic line. It's been a sloppy start to his season considering finishing off opportunities is his game.

Hall was better than Smith IMO. He was at fault for Briscoes try because he was in the line and should have been near the goal line. Didnt seem his usual self for taking the ball back up either.

Yes Hall droped a few but he is imense taking the ball up. Maks more yards than a forward.

IMO Hall was the worst player as he nearly cost us the game through his poor handling which he has shown us on previous occasions. In one sequence he dropped the ball 3 times. He is also slow to turn when fielding kicks over our line and gets caught when others would have saved the drop out. In mitigation the conditions were poor but the other players coped better. On the plus side he is a strong runner but good hands tend to be god given so I have doubts as to his future as a top winger. Don't mind being proved wrong though.

Smith played well and did some good work until his injury and was seen leaving the ground on crutches. Peacock well below form and should have played wider as he was in the 2nd row. Diskin was very good and was unlucky to be penalised for a tackle that was not completed and led to a try.

However Leeds defense was good in a difficult match with KR well up for it with a very good kicking game. I hope our walking wounded recover for next week.

What I do like about Hall is despite his errors his he doesn't let his head drop.
But his slowness to turn in the in goal area has to be a concern & will be noted by opposition coaches.
I thought that McGuire had a good game in difficult conditions and Senior looked strong again apart from not scoring. Credit that to good defence.
Overall in the match the MOM was Briscoe. He was immense. Good looker too, so for that alone he should have won.
With Vella back, HKR will win more than they lose at home.

I like it, I like it a lot. Smith deserved a 7 though for me as it included a try saving chase back and tackle.

Temptation, greets you like your naughty mate,
The one that used to get you in bother,
But one that you could never bring yourself to hate.

Smith - 7 - Great chase back for the try saver
Donald - 6 - Ineffective
Ablett - 7 - Good for the time he was on
Senior - 7 - Solid
Hall - 5 - Bit of a nightmare, still worked his gonads off though
Sinfield - 8 - Excellent in attack and defence.
McGuire - 7 - Some excellent touches, some naff ones, needs Burrow back desperatley, but really stood up in defence, battling performance which can be the only reason he was given MOTM.
Leulaui - 7 - A couple of bell ringers in the 1st half. Makes solid yards+ every time.
Diskin - 8 - Carried the game to the opposition all night long in attack and defence.
Bailey - 8 - 2 great breaks, put himself about well.
Peacock - 6 - Looks tired and was fairly ineffective all night
Kirke - 7 - Solid
JJB - 6.5 - Not as good as the high standards he has set himself IMO

Allan - 6 - Not much game time
Burgess - 7
McShane - 7 - Put it about in defence
Watkins - 7 - 1 moment of genius with the ball to Donald, good support play for his try, should have gone closer to the sticks though. Another year of growing and he's going to be immense.

Maybe my marks are a little harsh to say we battled our hearts out against a very good side, with a harsh penalty count against us. I just don't think it was a game where anyone stood out.

In terms of effort and comittment mate they all stood out from 1-17 imo.
We know they can all play better but overall no-one deserved less than a 7 imo when you consider everything about the match i.e the penalty count, the conditions and a tough home side.
