referee was excellent. piroe wasn't quite on it but he was way deeper than bamford would have been. really tough game. they were no mugs.
for me the big begatives were the final passes. bit more care from rutter and James and we are 3/4 up at half time

I was watching the game on iFollow and it always makes me laugh when the coverage is from our opponents on the day.
They were crying out for 2 pens that didn`t go their way and how Byram went down faking injury as Blackburn were getting on top and we were holding the game up only for Byram to get subbed.
From the angles shown on tv it looked like Struijk blocked the cross with his arm.
Agree about Piroe Tad playing deeper than Bamford.
My point was around the times he lost the ball or his final pass was off and had that been Bamford I would be slating him.
I also thought Rutter missed a couple of chances one from a great cross by James that he did not commit to whereas a goalscoring CF would have been on it.
