I think Wiggy has actually filled in the captains role really well.

That's ludicrous Thompson is already one of worlds best props, and has his best years ahead of him. JG was a class player but would nut sign him now. Saints are going to be much weaker with JG instead of Thommo

Thompson is nothing close to one of worlds, and never will be. Graham is and always has been world class.

Thompson has got a long way to go to get up to Graham's standard but he has also got a lot of years left in the tank.

It will be a big test for him in the NRL. I'll be interested to see how he goes.

Agree. It’s one thing looking good in SL it’s another doing it in the NRL but I wish him the best he certainly ticks a lot of boxes

Can't think of another Prop with Thompson's engine and work ethic. I think he's one of the best in the world already, and at this moment in time, far far better than Graham is now.

Payne Haas, David Fifita, Tevita Pangai Junior, Josh Papali, Jared Warea Hargreaves, Taukeiaho, Fisher-Harris, Ofahengue, Jai Arrow, etc. There are loads better, bigger and better engines.

I meant in SL. Best prop in SL qualifies for one of best in World....

Not sure that`s true.
The WBW who played in SL probably isn`t in the top 20 wingers in the NRL even when he is fit.
