Yeah but different players. Goudemand is more skilful but Sangare is massive. Takes some energy to put down even if he doesn’t look spectacular. Need that heavy artillery.

Absolutely different players and sangare isn't the type of prop I'd be starting, I'm not even convinced by him in the role of providing impact, I don't think he's very good.

Agree Seth. He had a poor first season and I'm not convinced by him.
I still see him as a project, 5th prop.
But unfortunately, he's been promoted to our starting rotation every week.
So we are now heavily reliant on him.

As for Mik, he's our pack leader. Needs a big season.
And we need Tommy to stay fit.

There's a lot of concerning question marks over our front row, not one of them gives you real confidence.

I think he’s a real handful and should improve this year further

My concern with Sangare is that he didn't look fit last season, and has a number of concentration related errors in him. He is a massive body, and could be a real handful, but the negatives were a bit too big for me last season.

If he can improve in these areas, he would be very useful to have around.

Agree Sangare works best as 5th prop or interchange, but he does take some sting out of the opposition.

I think we all agree we need to see some form and fitness improvements in that front row and / or recruit there again.

We need a prop that can bend the line and hit hard and a backrower that offers some strike power out wide.
Hopefully next year we get those, at least huge steps have been taken to fixing the team so far

We have done the obvious critical stuff, plus some nice-to-have upgrades. The team has talent for sure, the million dollar question is how the players come together and perform now as a group.

Ultimately if we don't have the 10-12m average carry prop available, we will change tactics to suit. I do think RS like a physical player, looking at his recruitment so far. Hopefully we make good progress this year, and we put cherries on the cake next.

Meanwhile the youth is developing and, assuming Rugby League is still a watchable sport by 2025, we look in good shape for once.

Rohan saying Holroyd, Goudemand and Bentley in doubt for round one. Let's hope at least one of the props makes it.
