I would very clearly blame the players. If they had been putting in a full effort each game then they would be excused, but it’s clear they haven’t. Poor attitude = Poor execution.

Then you have more underlying reasons around the quality of player recruited, the quality of coaching etc.

They are all responsible, to different degrees...

We might not have the best squad in the league but there is no excuse for the amount of errors produced by the playing staff, they can all catch and pass a rugby ball!

That's because, had the other things been sorted correctly, those very players wouldn't be in a position to do that, either not here or developed better.

As others have said, there are many moving parts to this.

Hetherington does ultimately take overall responsibility as the Chief Executive. I think recruitment and retention are where most of the club's issues are rooted and that is probably a combination of Hetherington and McDermott. You cannot expect Sinfield to fix an issue with legacy contracts that were signed two or three years before he arrived, and in some cases stil, have two or three years to run.

But there are undoubtedly players who haven't performed either. Some of those players were brought to the club with strong reputations and with rep honours under their belts, and they haven't lived up to that.

Ultimately it’s down to Hetherington. McDermott got us into the mire and we were already in trouble when Sinfield arrived, but Hetherington has overseen the whole operation.

Not a Gotcha lover but he is spot on with his comments . The one thing i can't get is posters still thinking that we have better players than we have , we are where we are because our players in the main are garbage and so is our coach . Can we get out of this ? . We need to beat Huddersfield , Salford and Catalan because i still doubt we will beat London .

The current team is actually very different to the team McDonut had. Are you blaming McD for Hurrell's lack of defensive position or Martin tackling high. Is it McD's fault we dropped a kick off v Hull?

How long does McD carry the can for? Just so we all know.
