that was my thoughts but cas fans tell me otherwise. perhaps because he's a flat track bully who bottles big games?

Tad I work with a workforce full of Cas fans and I have renamed Gale as a "Show pony" and until he delivers a big game performance like Sinny or Magsy did in the big games then he will always be a Show pony

A very good player admittedly and one who had to move away from the club to prove himself as he was behind far more talented players than he was at the time that he was at the club.

I would love Gale at the Rhinos if the deal was right but he would have to leave his ego and the Conor McGregor swagger behind in Cas Vagas

Not sure on the timing but Gale was set to sign for Wire until it fell through at the last minute. Again, on timing, not sure if this was pre or post Austin signing. If it was recently there were rumours of player move which would raise eyebrows which never really materialised. Maybe this was it? Expect him to be at Cas for the forseeable now.

If we're talking Brit, I'd be looking at Sneyd rather than Gale. Although if we don't add firepower up front first there's no halfback pairing that'd be an unqualified success.

I could have seen that - the 2 SL clubs his agent is closest to are Cas and Warrington

If Cas are short of money tell them they can keep Gale and we will take Junior Moors and Millington off them because they are what we badly need in our pack.

I think we've probably passed the point now where we're going to sign a young-ish, decent level prop on a 3 or 4 year contract, so I'd take Moors or Millington for a couple of years to tide us over until the less beneficial contracts run their course and we can get shot.
