He didn't think that. The video ref ruled on a knock on, which is what King Monkey is saying: that it was a knock on, and therefore the video ref can rule on that.

He didnt flick the pass. he went to catch it and knocked it on. Before it hit the floor it was collected by another player.

Knock on, now go away and read up on these things. I dont have the time to teach you the rules.

I'm learning here.

There's no such thing as a knock on that is caught. Which I suppose also means that there is no such thing as a forward pass which hits the ground.

And from a kick to the corner, if a player trying to catch the ball knocks it forward and another player gathers and scores, the video ref can't rule because that would be a forward pass not a knock on.

Its now crystal clear, it was a knock on from a flick pass that went backwards, yes at last I've got it!!

I have tried to find the rule book chapter for this but can't find it, what page is it on?
