I suspect the Agar appointment was not Furner's decision. Who knows, had they worked better together we might now be watching a side capable of both attack and defence.
In fairness, Agar was never supposed to be involved in first-team coaching and would have minimal involvement with Furner and the first team until James Lowes left.
I'm not sure Furner would or should have any involvement in deciding appointments for largely back-office roles.
I do hope those talking nonsense about Sinfield interfering, also realise how now we have an assistant coach in Carr, that Sinfield is neither around Agar, or in the dressing room.
