With Carrs temporary appointment and the statement from the club that it is only to the end of the season so the new coach can pick his own team it would appear that they are either in talks or still looking
Yeah was extremely glad to hear that mesen. Clearly they're looking for a new head coach and Agar won't get the gig full time.
If Leeds bolt it and make the 5 this year we might see Agar put in the frame but it does sound as if all parties are expecting a change for 2020. Agar would know that if he took the head coach position he's immediately on the sacking clock: with a back room role he can stay long term with greater security.
It's possible but I'd expect us to go for someone with more provenance.
You would imagine KS has quite a clear idea of what good and bad looks like in a head coach, I'm backing him to get it right in the end. Furner might have been a mistake for whatever reasons, but KS made the call on it and took the hard decision when needed.
I suspect the Agar appointment was not Furner's decision. Who knows, had they worked better together we might now be watching a side capable of both attack and defence.
