I don’t see why they wouldn’t announce it if they had signed him. He’s a Leeds lad you would think things being equal he’d sign for us.

He is raw but young, big, and extremely aggressive.

Wing option could be Kershaw at Wakey. Although having read the article it's just Barrie Mac saying what he thinks they need, not saying they are actively pursuing. Getting Eseh would complete an amazing round of recruitment.

Eseh plus Hudson would be a great pair of young backup props with plenty of potential.

They would put genuine pressure on the top 4 props which I think they need, and give us much better depth.

After prop we can look at wing given our current wingers’ injury record but…Kershaw I’d be happy with as a replacement for Olpherts but not as well as. I would a million percent play Simpson before Olpherts and probably Edgell or Lumb. Or we could play Miller on the wing and Myler FB or Momirovski to wing and Simpson to centre… much rather we put money into a prop of the right type.

Agree with all that other than Miller to the wing. We're going to want Miller with his hands on the ball as much as possible.

Obvs only an option to cover if Handley and / or Fus get injured. Point being we do have some cover with decent quality at wing even if we didn’t make another signings, and it’s possible that 2025 will see one or two more academy graduates ready. Said it before but I quite like Webster, Frater and a couple others.

Don’t think we’ll ask too much of Simpson next year. Young layers and will need no pressure after serious injury. Think people will be annoyed but Olpherts is first choice wing cover imho…..not saying I agree…!

Hopefully Handley and Fus last a whole season!

I’m going to be optimistic and say we can land Eseh or someone similar ish in addition to Hudson. Maybe a swap/loan deal even with Johnson or something.

Unlikely. Olpherts will get game time next year. Fwiw I think he has something to offer in a more confident team…..
