I'd hope Smith will have a slightly different role next year. Less need for him to play at, or before the line, where he can be good but also frustrating, and more need for him to play through the line where players like Croft and Miller should benefit as support runners.

I think so msny players have come in/gone out that the team will and should play quite different

Regarding GH saying all major signings having been made

“He said they've "all been made now". Which isn't necessarily the same as all been announced.”

Maybe GH has one more up his sleeve?

I was just trying to accommodate Johnson, O`Connor and Ackers but get your point.
Although if Goudemand can play prop when he is a secondrower?
