Interesting comments, I know a Stanningley players who are friends with DF son who along with his father are still in the Leeds area, both are driving club sponsored cars I have been advised. It is alleged, that there are issues with regards why DF was sacked. He has a strong case, it is reported that DF send the team sheet up to KS it was returned with either a tick to say the player was playing or a cross to remove him from the team and the reason why. If there is anyone who knows any Stanningley players who are Friends with Furners son, it may be worth asking what has been said to others. There is no reason what so ever that this player would tell me a rubbish, on the other hand I have no proof that it was true. All I remember was someone saying either KS had to go or DF, and KS made the decision who went and it was DF. Hence the bitter fall out etc. I know people will say that I don't like KS, but that is rubbish, but on the other side of the coin a lot of things that are coming out of the club are starting to ring true. Personally after listening to this player I believe him, he says KS is picking the team, so on here it's a split opinion , nothing at all to do with likeing someone or not, but there must be others who are active on this forum who must know players from Stanningley and also know DF son, maybe they can rubbish this rumour or confirm it, no doubt it won't stop people's opinions. I for one am not bothered who picks the team so long as the team that is picked gives 100 % and try's their hardest and gives the best for the club. All we are asking players is to give their best for the shirt, the club, supporters and themselves.
