We might as well have not got rid of the equally useless McDermott. Cut from the same cloth.

I would be absolutely gobsmacked if any Leeds player was feeling "cosy" right now.
Maybe a different coach would give the side a boost, but I say again, who?
In the meantime they are trying to do what they can within the cap and quota to bring some improvements to the playing squad - on and off the field I think.
Looking at performances, my view is that Agar has gelled the side together somewhat.
If we can get Ward back fully fit, and keep trying for a proper half back to partner Lui, I reckon we have a good chance of staying up - other key injuries aside.

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

A good chance of staying up, is this really what it’s come to? Wow. Don’t disagree btw, just continually staggered to think this is where we are at.

4 wins probably is enough, maybe 3 if one of them is against HKR and another against London.

Yeah mate I really don't think we can take anything for granted at this stage. Unless the wheels fall of London and they get a couple of injuries, we may have a better chance overtaking Huddersfield or Wakey.
I was furious when we spaffed the two points at HQ against Wigan, I thought they were critical and there for the taking.
We just cannot assume that KR or London will lose more games than us in the run-in.
One or two on here have been insistent we're a mid-table finish, but the table doesn't lie (although it is close).
Lui is not the Messiah but I do think he could improve Leeds structurally quite a bit - we'll see on Sunday.

We really should be able to find 4 wins with the fixtures how they have fallen. Massive game sunday we should be bang up for it against a Catalans side who have been smashed at home a few times and are always there for the taking on the road. If we don't get the points here i would be seriously worried.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect on Sunday. It feels like a game that could be won by 1 point or 50 by either team. If the stakes weren't so high it'd be quite exciting but it really is starting to feel like Sunday could be make or break for us. If we start slowly like we did against St Helens and Catalans get a few scores in front it'll be interesting to see whether the team galvanise or collapse. Home crowd could really be the difference in this run in

Really don't know how to take this one - I don't see Agar in training and how the players interact with him etc.

I think we do need a new and recognised form coach, and to make that appointment in time for the closed season preparations for 2020.

However if Agar keeps us up and, who knows, gets us up the table a bit that will be no mean feat in the circumstances.

The club honestly might be struggling to plan too much for next year on a number of fronts if it doesn't know which division it'll be in.

Sinfield is the coach in all but name. He doesn't want the job title so he doesn't get blamed when things go wrong but you can clearly see him giving agar instructions during the match. Jon wells has the same title at cas and doesn't even attend all of their games
