Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
centre or not, he should not be anywhere near the side at the moment, he was awful defensively against Cas in no mans land for 3 of there tries, not including the ones from kicks which i am fine with as it happens. the others he did not look like he wanted to tackle anybody just ran into space and flaps his arms around. he will lose us games if he plays in super league at the moment, come back in 12 months when he has learned how to mark up and make a tackle or at least try to make a tackle. Not writing if off as he is cracking attacking player, but no where near ready for super league yet, 12 months at Fev then reassess.
Quire right he is a great prospect but nowhere near ready for SL as his defence is awful.
Hope its a good turn out in front of the cameras, decent K.O time on a Saturday so should be no excuses from both sets of fans. Safe trip over!
Strange decision on the kick off time IMO as it clashes with the biggest rugby game of this years 6 Nations so floating rugby fans will be watching Ireland v England on ITV
Hmm we look so so light upfront. I do wonder if Furner doesn't like the look of Peteru.
JJB is playing a role as a prop, he will be too slow and easy to commit in a wider 2nd row role, saw it last season, gives his all, gets knackered and then taken advantage of for shooting and being tired.
Still can add value, but needs to condense his chase a little and at prop that will work better than chasing out wide.
Saints are looking very good first 20 mins v Wigan. Walmsley drive, Thompson drive, play at pace off the platform. We just don’t have that ability at the moment.

Blimey, we haven’t even played yet why don’t we actually see how we go before getting all negative

Your negative is my realistic mate - I think we'll struggle again unless our front row aims up AND we're lucky with injuries. Goes without saying but because of our limitations this year, we are going to have to defend tight and tough and cut out the silly errors and penalties. Can't wait for tomorrow night.
Yes probably. Roby is just immense. Problem is Warrington aren't shy in that department either with Hill, Clark and Cooper etc. Anyway I expect with it being first game of the season and everyone pretty much fit and fresh, we should be competitive.
