Caddick has bought Cas & is pulling out of all involvement with Leeds because the RU side, his main interest hasn't, can't & won't deliver the premiership RU that he craves.
Plus Brexit is putting a massive unforeseen financial strain on all his other businesses.

Headingley upgrades deemed a non-starter because it's become way too expensive as a consequence of community opposition to illegal green field site sell off's. Going to switch to a Plan B instead involving sale of entire cricket and rugby sites to private housing developers who plan to build apartments in a much sought after residential area.

Plan B involves both cricket (YCCC) and rugby (Leeds Rhinos) sharing a new build complex out at Durkar where the Rhinos will also rugby ground-share with Wakefield Trinity. Central and local government grants along with Sport England funding will cover most of the costs.

Such a pity that the land at Durkar - in the flood plain - has succumbed to the lure of office development.
Otherwise it would have been a good scheme.

Actually you're all wrong.........

Leeds rhinos, Wakefield wildcats & cas tigers are all part of a merger, where they will now formally be known as West Yorkshire Safari, with home games to be staged at belle vue, due to being modern and structurally sound

I heard it will be re-christened the Belle End stadium. And yes, there will be a bell end end.

So according to Hetherington there will be no new signings. Disappointing news, can't see us making the top 4 with the squad we've got.

It's not just about making top four for me, I'd like to see us return to playing an attractive, watchable brand of rugby. can we with the current squad and coaching set up though?
