I was at Wembley in 1971 when Leigh certainly surprised us ! can't remember many of the Leigh team from that day. I'm sure the Leythers will remind me . Obviously Murph,Jimmy Fiddler, who I watched at Bramley, Geoff Clarkson,Kev Ashcroft
There It goes again. What is dangerous about it FFS? We are not playing Wigan, Warrington, Castleford, that would be dangerous. Leeds got the draw they wanted, finally got luck in the draw. Had we got the others, but for Keighley, then you start to be cautious.
I am sure Leeds would love to play Leigh at home everyday of the week. If they are not disposing of any championship team, especially at home, by 35-40 points plus then they will have had a dissappointing day at the office.
Brad Fitler "If the ref's decision decides your game. You haven't done enough prior."
Referees are like women, they make snap decisions and never reverse them.
Littlerich wrote Widnes will be glad to get away from Leigh. They've been regularly pumped, roasted and left in the alley-way by the lobbygobblers. Talk about being bitched - what a torrid time they've had. They'll be looking for some A&E rest time for the next three years at least.

Hope tonight's team can pull off a bigger shock than these guys did. Unfortunately can't see it happening.

Just the attitude McDermott will be hoping the players avoid. Well done.

I ask again, what is dangerous about it?
It is no good keep telling us it is, unless you have something to back it up.
The evidence would suggest completely the opposite to your pessimistic view. Indeed just looking at the bookies, and Leigh have a 38 point start on the handicap. I bet there has never been a surprise result with an handicap that big. Goes along with what my post said, not above a 35-40 winning margin for Leeds is not a good night.
Best of luck to Josh Walters, but his selection has all the hallmarks of a sop to the dual-code arrangement.
Can't see how he's ahead of the likes of Minchella or England in terms of being at first team standards.
Agreed, but hope it turns out better than the last coach pet project, who also got ahead of others without the talent to back it up. Good luck to the lad.

Potentially a sloppy attitude of we only need to turn up to win. Don't think we would lose even then because the heads will come out of arris pretty quick, but I suppose that's the danger taking opposition too lightly. After the last result we need a good performance to start to build some confidence again.

Initially agree re can't see being ahead of michella, have liked the look of him when he has played.
That said on a very poor performance not been impressed with Leeds at all but have been fairly impressed with Walters good leg drive in tackle thought he went well
