Didn't he come through as a ball handling backrower but because of the style of rugby we've played he's had to be more of a battering ram. If so, it's not easy for a lad just turned 21 to dominate or stand out against experienced pros when he isn't playing his natural game. I was talking to a Hudds fan today and he said how they have some really good youngsters, but they got steam rollered by bigger more experienced packs. Forwards especially need patience. It's a big step up playing against grown men who are full time professionals. You do want to see steady improvement in them though
