But yes it does seem to be stadium related. Anything on that front is a bit complicated and usually has to involve Yorkshire somehow. But it's been set up as a Leeds press conference.
On the naming rights our current stadium agreement means they have to be sold for the complex as a whole rather than cricket and RL separately. Hetherington and Caddick have been reported as blocking Yorkshire's proposal that Mike Ashley be given the naming rights which in turn might have upset YCCC's scheme to sell the cricket ground to him. A good thing in every way if that's the case but I imagine Leeds have been trying to do what they can to sort that out. Offering Caddick as a safe haven alternative owner who won't sell Yorkshire down the river at the first opportunity whilst also sourcing a more palatable naming rights sponsor might well be where this ends up.
