Kevin Ellis, david bishop and Jonathan Griffiths were pretty good halfbacks from Wales in the 80s. Ricky Stuart was the best RU convert halfback of that era.

Maybe so played only 40 games so that may have been just over a season.IIRC he started off slowly due to change of code and fittnnes then started to put some good performances before his RL career was cut short with injury.
