I’d put a winger in the want and not need category myself. If the right player was available, fair enough. T Briscoe is due back during the first quarter I’m guessing, and Luke can do a holding job, or potentially a younger winger or centre. If T Briscoe doesn’t recover (we have been burned a few times here!) that’s another matter.

FB reserve for me would be Sutcliffe and then young Stephens.

Not vital but it is an area where we are short.I presume Sutcliffe,do we have a fullback coming through who could deputise?

I'd tend to agree with that, the Idea of shipping out Merrin and Hurrell to replace them with what he's suggesting is madness.
