It explains why Burgess was relatively ineffective last year. I wouldn't be surprised if he played in extreme pain at the end of the season.

Not at all mate.
Simply suggesting Gale might have been biting his lip or clinching his fists whilst those tests were going on.

Freddie Fittler reckons this ain’t the end for Sam. He reckons that 2021 he will be back but never in the NRL due to insurance! Let’s get him fixed up and over here to us!

SL isn’t much easier than NRL on the body, if he’s done he’s done. You can’t play top level RL with half of a shoulder.

I’d say when we’re already carrying Crosby, Ward and Gale it would be hugely risky to add another Casualty actor into the mix.

Would imagine he’ll get a media or coaching deal worth more than we could pay him as a player anyway, he’s box office in Aus.

I hope we don’t end up having too much disruption deep into pre-season with player changes, I get the feeling the group needs to come together and have a really thorough and focused prep for next year.

If it was a case of resting up he would do that and stay in Aus.By the sound of it it doesn't matter how long he rests up that shoulder is knackered.
