Apparently we are in for Kruise Leeming! Heard this a few times now. I know we want a British Hooker, but I’m not sure Leeming would be the fit, he’s not exactly the controlled Hooker that we want, I would prefer to stick with what we have and surely the Giants will command a fee for their first choice!

I agree. Stick with what you’ve got. You definitely definitely don’t need this player who is likely to be England material in the future. He’s not the hooker you want. You don’t want an excellent running hooker, who can control the ruck, defend solidly, distribute the ball well and has an added dimension of a half decent kicking game.
Stay away.

Leeming is a very handy player, much better than our current options, but I’d be a bit surprised if we were going for him because of his age. He’s still young, and with Johnson coming through, how would you satisfy their need for game time?

This was my predicament with the Leeming rumour, as much as it would be a class signing.

Would the plan not be to let Dwyer go after next year? He’s only on a one year deal? Could be leeming and Johnson for 2021

Dont think Leemings age effects Johnson, you need 2 Hookers, Dwyer will be Moved on end of this year if theres anything in these rumours. Johnson does nxt season at Fev with a few Leeds appeances here and there, takes Dwyers place in the regular 17 season after.

Be very happy if we were to add Davies, Leeming and Tetevano to the team but doubt that could happen.
