Depends where they plan to play him. If it’s second row then probably, but I wouldn’t have retained Bentley, if it’s Centre then no he’s not a Centre.

Don’t get me wrong I like Martin, he’s solid, but given McDonnell (hopefully still with us by then), Bentley, Goudemand etc I wonder whether an overseas quota second rower should be a bit punchier.

We just have too many second rowers basically….

Could be completely wrong here but JOC needs to improve his distribution and game smarts from dummy half a fair bit if he’s going to make a career at 9.

Unfortunately he’s another one of those players who is a little too small for the pack really, but maybe doesn’t have the skill set for a spine player at the top level.

Hes a solid pro rarely gets injured versatile and is an ace goalkicker he will be one of the first names on the team sheet but yeah let's get rid but keep sick note Fusitua.

Enough already with the Goudemand is a second row. You'll be on Myler is half back next. Don't forget Gannon. I thought he ran some great lines off Sinfield on Friday, and I expect him to be a bigger and better next year. On Martin - I think there'll be loads of clubs after him. Goal kicking second row, who can do well at centre. Rarely gets injured. That's value for money in SL.

Martin I'd keep, if he can still play top level. He's been good fir us.

JoC and CJ should both be working hard on core hooker skills wether we sign someone or not

I’m not sure which position Goudemand is because he looks too lightweight for prop to me. Could be wrong.

Gannon is a different type of player to Martin and will have some whack about him with his size and aggression when he fills out. That’s my point really: Martin is strong but does he offer enough difference to the others I mentioned - maybe he doesn’t need to. If we are running light in the second row though it puts even more emphasis on the props to do the heavy lifting and it looks like they are struggling.
