Yep. We cannot afford to fluff a quota spot in a position where it would be a luxury. It has to be a half - a good one - and a centre with some pace. Appreciate we also need a prop and potentially a hooker, but we have a decent chance of sourcing both from non quota players.

Another lazy bit of RL journalism by 'serious about RL' (one of the ones where they copy and paste the first 3 generic opening paragraphs from 10 other articles) states Peter Matautia would be the perfect signing for Leeds. Perfect for what, staying in 8th place?!

Could we get Kallum Watkins back to play at centre? Academy trained, good lad, top pro, appreciate he has played at second row of late but would get cap dispensation and leave us 2 quota spots open.

Not a bad shout if Salford were prepared to listen to offers and we wanted to come. We won't be able to spend wages we saved on Leeming on next years salary cap so why not spend them on a fee?
