Of course he was, not like the initial angle shows them stood face to face does it. Not like a leeds fan to twist the truth now is it.

Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

You can start with the pages of crass tributes to Ryan Bailey's performance of Friday night. I don't really believe 9 drives for an inconsequential amount of yards to be much of a performance - particularly as one of his opposing props was young Matty Ashurst.

Sure he made a big tackle - whoopy do. He also spent time getting driven back to where he came from in the subsequent sets.

The argument of Bailey's discipline was proved errant by the fact that Wigan fans used to argue the same thing with Terry Newton. The disciplinary committee is a joke shop - inconsistent. It worked in our favour for once, because there was a very strong argument Gilmour should have been banned for striking.
i asked you if you had any posts showing Leeds fans reaction to the defeat. You respond by referencing our praise of an individual players' performance.

So, do you have any or not?

I don't recall any mention of racism :?:

Leeds are to good of a team to have to resort to a 'player' of the likes of Bailey.
He does not do the profile of Rugby League any good at all.
What do you mean by "the likes of" eh?

The subconscious racism is becoming more and more overt.

The initial angle that arrived after on the 2nd punch you mean?

The Black Adrian Morley had already taken one to the face as he got up to play the ball. You can see it on the long shot.

Poor form from Scultorpe that. He may as well have waited while his back was turned a la Sonny Knuckles.

It was a cheap shot.

Europorn talks a good fight doesn't he ?

From behind a keyboard that is.

...and without considering that Sculthorpes violent behaviour resulted in his sending off - always a good move in a team game.

I'm still waiting for him to provide links to Gould and Price saying anything other than "Graham is a brown shorts" when faced with the Aussie front row.

The racist comments are a bit OTT IMO.
No they're not. Its' someone Else's theory and I have explained them on another thread.

I can see no logical justification for this hatred of and accusations towards a player who has received only 1 yellowcard in his professional career. The same posters that despise bailey and call him a "thug" hold other hard man props like Morley, Barrie Mac, Peacock in reverence.

Against you on Friday we had two white players cited for very dangerous and illegal tackles. Both were white and not one single complaint from Saints fans. In fact, Saints fans have sprung to Diskin's defence on this very forum.

Graham acted like a thug and an animal Friday and had to be calmed down by the referee the second he cam on the pitch.

Yet Ryan, who did nothing wrong, cops all this.

What's the link? What's the reasoning?

I can't see anything other than skin colour. It may be subconscious rather than blatant but I think opposition fans don't like the hard man enforcer prop role to be played by someone getting above his station.
