If true would mean the either the halfback or centre would be British. I’m not sure I see the players for that.

I quite like Whitbread runs hard can make a break and has an offload, not sure he's worth a quota spot though.

Whitbread taking the space of Tetevano isn’t a bad option at all for me. Holroyd moves to No. 10 and Whitbread takes his 18.
Personally think that either. McShane or Powell end up in a Leeds shirt next season.
The half back or centre is the conundrum.
Definitely wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up with Martin in centres, overseas half back and then a shuffle in the second row (Bentley, McDonnell, Gannon)

Martin isn’t a Centre, he’s not quick enough and doesn’t have the hands to bring other into the game.

No way on this planet is Whitbread worth a quota spot in this current Leeds side absolutely in dire need of a star HB & Centre

I thought we were meant to be bringing in 3 marquee players... there's some good brits in NRL but Whitbread coming in would leave us with a problem on that front..

Whitbread would definitely fit the bill given Smith's recruitment policy.
Average but young.
Unsurprisingly we are being linked with more players from the team dubbed the worst ever in SL.

I'd take Lee Kershaw off them as a replacement for Olpherts and Tindall

Do you consider any Wakey players as marquee signings?
