I could be wrong but my opinion is the coach at Leeds now is purely there to do that, coach. Hes going to be told what to coach, which players are in and out and the likes of Wane and Powell wouldn't stay as long as Furner ultimately did. It simply would not work.
Wane announced he was leaving Wigan shortly after it was announced Tomkins was going and Zak was coming in. It can't have been a coincidence. So why do people think he would put up with that or probably an even worse situation at Leeds?
People wanting the likes of Powell, Wane or Flanagan need a reality check I think. Those guys would want control but the Leeds situation has changed now and the coach would be purely an assistant of Sinfield.
If the club thought the fans would accept Agar without too much unease he would have been appointed already. I am convinced of that.
In my opinion Kevin wants to be coach in a way but doesn't want to spend the time doing it as he has a youngish family so he wants to control the coaching department while not doing the coaching.
That's just how I see it, like I say I could be wrong.
