Swap Merrin for Graham, that would be perfect for both teams! We would get a Captain, grunt up front and free a quota spot, then get Isaac Luke?

Or swap him for Hodgson, we get a leader with a brain, a good kicking game, great hooker, and free up a quota spot for whatever else we need.

Watkins > Martin
Lolohea > Lui
Parcell > Seumanufagai.
Ormondroyd, Walters > Lunt
JJB, Ablett > Mellor
Mullally > Donaldson

Then you would think that there is possible that Ferres, Merrin, Golding, Lunt and Myler could leave, that’s a huge amount.

Gale coming in doesn’t actually take up much cap due to being home grown and England international (around 75k off the cap I’m told).

Canberra wouldn’t want Merrin I reckon and they definitely wouldn’t let Hodgson go and he wouldn’t come.

Hodgson would be my choice but i think there would be little chance of this happening.

Get Cameron Smith or Isaac Luke for a year or two. Not decided their future yet. Then bring another forward in to replace Merrin..... we can dream.

Not a chance Hodgson will come back. He's applied for citizenship, i think.

We should get someone like Luke or McCulloch from Brisbane. Both are likely available.

I imagine Agar is having some interesting conversations over there. I’d like to see Luke at Leeds for a year or two. Wonder whether we might be back in for a 7.
