Makes sense for him if he's going to start as first choice, and he will be rejoining Craig Lingard who was his coach at Batley. We'll lose a bit of depth, but that I assume Myler will cover. Best wishes to Luke anyway - he had an awful start but he didn't let it crush him and he's going to stay in SL.

Just on the incomings, I'd be surprised if the last two results make much difference, mainly because its likely our remaining signings have already been done (except a replacement for Nene maybe). The likely reason for silence at this stage is that they're with other Sl sides who aren't dead in the water.

If that is the case would indicate no incomings from the NRL as surely would be the ideal time to announce them to appease the fans after the last 2 performances.
Unless hopefully negotiations are still ongoing.

It depends, its up to the player and current club when they want to announce things, there's still a lot of movement to be done in the NRL

Not too sure about that, but I may be wrong.
Just going on the fact it was announced in February this year Herbie Farnworth was leaving the Broncos to join the Dolphins in 2024 and its often heard from the commentators about movements in the current season when watching the NRL games.

Farnworth was out of contract, wasn't he? That's different. In GH's interview he said they were focusing recruitment in the overseas market, in other words, the NRL. He also referred to the list beyond the list, players like Miller, who were still contracted but wanted to come and were available if their clubs were approached. That appears to be what they are doing. I suspect there will be a few things made public after our season limps to its end.

As I say its not always up to the incoming club to decide when things are announced especially if they are contracted.

Maybe that is it.
Just cannot understand why an NRL club would put a block on announcing it, as would not alter team selection as proven by players already moving playing in the NRL finals.
