Ultimately I'm prob the same Jim. I think he is past his best but if the terms are right, he can prove his fitness and we can get rid of Myler in a cost effective way then so be it.

I just find it hard to get excited about this.

Gale won the Albert Goldthorpe medal 3 years running, 2015, 2016, 2017, hardly a one good season player, the risk is the injury, the reward is...he is exactly the type of 7 we need, the bonus is...he's non quota.

Agar flying out to Australia today, as GH said last night expect movement of players over the next few weeks, gave nothing away. All gone quiet on Gale, heard nothing for over a week. Anyone else heard anything

The Gale deal is nearly over the line but apparently we are holding things up now! I wonder if we are I talks with somebody else. We are also trying to free up overseas spots, so I expect Peteru to go and Cuthbertson to retire.

I also hope we can get Graham, with the Dragons wanting a shake up and if you say Agar is going to Aus today, he has contacts at the Dragons. He expressed he wanted to finish in Super League, another big prop like Ava will bear good addition.

Aiden sezer again outstanding this morning. If the rumours were true about us attempting to sign him, that’s the quality of player that would get the fans excited. Deff not gonna happen now though.

Said this for a while but Ava plus a real direct, aggressive, quality prop with Holroyd, Oledzki, Crosby in reserve suddenly looks a decent set of heavy artillery.

Our back row is fine and will become better over time.

If we could swap Cuthbo and Peteru for some real quality now rather than next year, it will accelerate things a bit of course.

Can't see Cuthbert's retiring,maybe look for a longer deal at another club.
