We wont let Roofe go without a replacement but it's a bit bizarre. The owner has made a fortune in sales. I'm told by a source it's to do with readying the club for sale this season to PSG owners. We needed another striker plus keeping Roofe.

I would have guessed that's why but he would get more for a prem club. hes committing suicide. I dont think roofe will be replaced either

Everywhere i see we seem to be picked as favourites for promotion this year so the pressure will be on from the start. Unwaranted imo Considering we were below average for much of the second half of last season bar the odd outstanding performance and we have imo not particularly pushed the boat out in recruitment then we really have to get off to a flyer or i could see MB gone before xmas.

Fingers crossed for a flying start.

Gutted to concede in the final stages of the game. Happy with the win and feel a few more men coming into the squad will help is hugely.

They said during the game that Leeds would be looking bringing in a couple of players before the end of Thursday. A keeper and a striker I'd have thought.

Good win today, I thought, Pablo and Harrison were excellent, and White looked older than his years at the back.

Douglas oozes class in attack, but thought he looked a bit all over the place at the back.

A great start to the season in what could have been a tricky game v Bristol City

A comfortable win to start the season

IMO a Keeper and a Striker who can bang 20 plus goals in is a necessity to get us promoted this year

I would have signed Jermaine Defoe last season as IMO he would have delivered the goals needed to get us up

If Leeds don't go up this year then it will be because we didn't have an out and out striker

Agree with above comments. Great result against a good team away. I'm hearing were in for a striker from inter. No name though
