TBH I've thought he was a bit over-rated except for one good year in 2017... but I still think he'd give more to the side than Myler can.

Like I said, much comes down to the commercial terms any deal is done on.

I bet Cas wish they had a fit Gale in their team at the moment, they looked clueless last night I'd go as far as to say we look a better team than them at the moment

I agree, Cas last night was terrible, their halves were shocking, they couldn't finish their sets with anything worthwhile. Powell must have been pulling his hair out. Its a shame because I would have liked watching Cas in the playoffs, other than Hull we have no one now to support in our area.

I don't think they recruited anything like they need to for next year either, I'm going for Salford in the playoffs would be good for them to have a real dig.

Saw some footage of Gale in 2016 and 2017 seasons. Superb. If he can get back to anything like he will be a terrific signing. But it's a big if I accept that. Thing is as well I dont think he will actually be on big time money either.

It depends what you define as big money.I would think being an international player he'd be on good salary at Cas so I cant see that changing if he signs for Leeds.

Maybe Gale really want to play first grade for Leeds and commit to his hometown club too. There is an opportunity at the club to really make a difference and try to build towards success again.

I’m ambivalent about it really - if it happens on the right terms great, if not then we could give McLelland a run with Myler next year and then sign a real quality half with cash and quota available if needed.

If he was injury free and a regular in the gb team hed command big money but that's not the case. He wont come cheap but hes not as expensive as he could have been. No where near imo
