We do need a really good 7 to partner steady Crawley.

If we bring Lee in, we look okay for first 17 ish. I think there should be at least one more signing in addition to the 7 either at hooker or prop.

With Donaldson, Goudemand, Martin, Gannon, McDonnell in the back row I just cannot see the sense retaining Bentley. If we need more back rowers we need pace, punch, size not just another plucky small bloke.

We desperately need a 7, a prop and a centre.
That's the absolute minimum surely.
We've lost Leeming, Tetevano, Sezer, Walters and now McDonald and none have been replaced.

Scrum half and centre are a given; it’s whether we look for prop or hooker too.

RS is a fan of unpolished gems it seems; maybe we can unearth one or two more McDonnells or Lisones.

Still think we need more whack in the middle.

A raw-boned big unit who can put in decent minutes. Off-loading game would be nice.

So basically a combination of JP and Cuthbertson.

Lisone is big enough for a forward but we need someone bigger.

He has errors in him at times; again for me one of ours big problems this year has been errors. I want us to sign players with a good high skill level as well as being big and physical.

We just don’t really boss teams down the middle.

Watched this lad Volkman in a full NSW Cup match. He looks like he's going to be a dynamite player. Takes the ball to the line, great feet, fast, slick handling, varied field kicking , very good place kicking. In short the full package. I'd be stunned if he left the NRL, but if he his up for coming we should forget about his age and roll the dice. He'd be great to watch. Reminded me of Stacey Jones.

High praise indeed. I’d have someone like that even for a season or two. We need some x-factor and players who can raise the levels of their teammates.
