I understand the need to credit Agar but some of the commentary makes it sound like we've won every game under him. We've still been rubbish far too often and our squad has far too many passengers.
Kaeru you say our squad looks 'solid' but how many would get into sts or wires 17? Nowhere near enough to justify 'solid' IMO.
My definition of “solid” is probably more Mid-upper table than top of the table mate.
It’s just the reality of where we’re at on the path to recovery. A year ago around half our team was Championship standard, we were lost and falling fast.
Now I don’t think you could say the same thing. There are a number of players we could do with shedding to clear the path for Academy players yes - for me most of that process should be complete by this time next year.
I am genuinely enthusiastic about this young Leeds side for a couple of years down the line. I do think next year will be a building year, after a Herculean effort to clean the stables a bit this year and just stay in the top flight come what may.
