Unfortunately the club did see Corey as the long term 9 and are shocked by it all. He was told he would start at Wigan in the pre-seaaon friendly but Corey turned down the opportunity.

Its a real shame but i just hope he doesnt regret it down the line.

Coming from Union would he be free on the salary cap in year 1? If so he could be an option for Toronto. I think I’d rather us stick with Handley, Briscoe and Briscoe.

He'll be chasing the coin. A position where we're ok in the long term with Walker who's going to be top drawer. Expect him to stay in union

Ashton hasn't been a full back since leaving Wigan, he's a winger.
