Matt Frawley is a marker of where this club is now at. He is a terrible signing, offers nothing with the ball and is barely competent without it (which for SL will be fine I suppose).

If this is the level of signing we are looking to make, then GH and RS can both bugger off, they are crucifying our chances of success. Awful, awful signing, so frustrated with the club right now.

He played a bit at hooker on the weekend, and was as anonymous there as at halfback. By the way, does anyone at all remember him at Huddersfield? I remember him being rubbish for the Dogs, and now Raiders, but have zero memory of him at Hudds. The only possible value of signing him would be as cover, or if the plan was to use next season to get Sinfield up to scratch. Utter waste of a quota spot. I'd really not bother, and just look to the Championship (or someone like Milnes), and put a quota spot elsewhere.

If he does sign its indicative of a club that has no idea at all. We've had a whole year knowing at least one of our halfbacks was going, and quite likely two. We've seen for multiple years that you cannot perform as a team with rubbish halfbacks. With cap and quota space available, next season was our chance to take a leap from lower half of SL to challenging for the top. Signing someone like Frawley really would make me feel that the club has no desire to get back there.

This is just another huge embarrassment for the club on so many levels - why not let him have proper paternity leave? Why put out the statement and create speculation? Why isn't the head coach in the know?

You are spot on with the basis of the questions you raise.

I can’t recall anything like it. Our hooker and last captain asks to leave early in the year and is not replaced. A developing young forward signs for Wigan as soon as the window opens which seem to take Rohan by surprise. Our stand off leaves for Cas, what the real story is who knows. Now our left centre goes walkabout with 4 games to go, who is supposedly a Smith favourite who we signed Ona 4 year deal and accommodated by exiting Sutcliffe early and letting Zak go.

There is something very wrong, whether it’s GH, Smith or both.

Add whatever is going on with Tetevano and it’s a shambles.

Imagine saints letting Roby leave, Lees signs for Wigan, Lomax decides he wants to finish the season with Salford and Percival goes to Benidorm for the last 4 games. Plus Walmsley has a medical issue and does not play.

The red vee mob would storm the boardroom and burn McManus, , Rush and Wellens on stakes by the Cunningham statue..

Instead Lussick leaves and is replace immediately by Mbye.

There’s really no need for the childish name calling tad.

This forum is full of people criticising the club, Smith and Hetherington, so where you get the idea you ‘can’t’ criticise them I don’t know.
